In the afternoon of March 28th, Samuel Chang, the program officer of the US, Mr. Kruzich , culture conseller of the US consulate in Shengyan, and other entourage visited DMU. The vice-headmaster Zheng Shaonan met the guests in the guest room 812 in comprehensive building. Qu Guangqing, Dean of law School, and Xu Bin, vice-director in International Cooperation and Communication Office, attended the meeting.

　　Zheng Shaonan introduced some basic situations in the international cooperation and communication of DMU. He hoped to further extend the communication channels with the universities and colleges in the US and carry on more communication and cooperation in law among the universities. At the same time, DMU will provide more funds for young teacher to do further study abroad in order to let them dedicate more into the construction and development of the disciplines in DMU.
　　Samuel Chang spoke highly of the construction and development in law of DMU. He hoped that the US consulate and other Americans colleges acted as the bridge to explore broader space for the cooperation in law among the universities in China and the US.  
　　After the meeting, Samuel Chang and his entourage held a informal discussion with the teachers and students who participated in the contest of a simulated court debate in Beijing. They conducted a deep and thorough discussion on the topics of court judgments, for example, the legal obtain of evidence, the protection of the legal rights of the accused.
