On January 19th 2006, the unveiling ceremony of China Communications Newspaper Reporter Station in Dalian was held in DMU by the approval of Ministry of Communications (MOC), Liaoning Press and Public Bureau and Dalian Press and Public Bureau.

Director Zou Li from Science and Education Department of MOC, Tan Hong, Vice-Director General of China Communications Newspaper, Director Lv Shouzu from Ministry of Propaganda of Dalian Municipal Party Committee, Lao Jiulian, General-secretary of Communist Party of COSCO Dalian, Li Deyuan, General-secretary of Communist Party of China Classification Society Dalian Branch, Li Ying, Vice General-secretary of Communist Party of Dalian Communication Bureau, Prof. Wang Zhaohe, General-secretary of Communist Party of DMU, Wen Xiaoqin, Vice-President of DMU, Sun Peiting, Vice-President of DMU, Sun Yuqing, Vice-President of DMU, Zheng Shaonan, Vice-President of DMU and Wang Yuehui, Vice-President of DMU attended the ceremony. 

　 Director Zou Li, Vice-Director General Tan Hong, Director Lv Shouzu and Prof. Wang Zhaohe unveiled the board for China Communications Newspaper Reporter Station. The establishment of China Communications Newspaper Reporter Station in Dalian gained great support from Liaoning Ministry of Propaganda, Liaoning Press and Public Bureau. Liaoning Press and Public Bureau sent a congratulatory letter for the ceremony.

He hopes that the reporter station will work hard and publicize the achievements of communications and shipping centre actively to contribute to the revitalization of Northeast Industrial Base and shipping center construction.
