On Nov. 8th, 2007, the engaging ceremony of Mr. Roger Tupper, Director of Marine Department, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) as DMU’s visiting professor was held.
Mr. Roger Tupper is equipped with both profound maritime knowledge and rich practical working experience. President Wang extended his congratulations and gratitude to Mr. Roger Tupper and invited him to visit DMU some time. President Wang said that the engaging of Mr. Roger Tupper as DMU’s visiting professor has opened up a new opportunity for the cooperation between DMU and Hong Kong. Mr. Roger Tupper expressed his gratitude to DMU. He regarded the professorship as an honor and he would make his contribution to the development of DMU and to the talents training of the shipping industry.
