On the afternoon of November 30th, Mr. Keith Read, Chief Executive of the Institute of Marine Engineers, Science and Technology, UK and other guests visited DMU.
　Vice-President Zheng Shaonan had a meeting with the guests. As the Deputy Director of the Cooperation of Employment Working Group for All-China Navigation Graduates, Vice-President Zheng Shaonan and other delegation have visited the Institute of Marine Engineers, Science and Technology in UK in October, and discussed the possibility of cooperation. The visit this time is in response to and follows up the previous discussion, which will push forward the cooperation between the two organizations. Vice-President Zheng briefly introduced DMU and the framework of the Cooperation of Employment Working Group for All-China Navigation Graduates. The guests spoke highly of the important role that the Working Group plays in the employment of navigation graduates as well as the maritime education community. Both the two organizations have its own strong points, which will be the basis for future cooperation.
　After the meeting, the guests visited the workshop and labs of Marine Engineering College and were impressed by the tour.
