From May 21^st to 24^th, President Wang Zuwen and other 17 professors paid a visit to Changjiang Golden Waterway.

On the morning of May 21^st, the visiting group exchanged ideas with leaders from Changjiang River Administration of Navigational Affairs, Changjiang Waterway Bureau, Changjiang Maritime Safety Administration, Changjiang Public Security Bureau, and Bureau of Changjiang Communication Administration.

In the afternoon, the Engaging Ceremony of Director-General Jin Yihua, Changjiang River Administration of Navigational Affairs and Director-General Tang Guanjun, Changjiang Waterway Bureau as DMU visiting professors was held.

        President Wang delivered a speech at the ceremony. He said that the engaging of the two visiting professors accomplishes the wishes of DMU, which also opens a new page in the cooperation between DMU and Changjiang River Administration of Navigational Affairs, Changjiang Waterway Bureau. On one side, DMU’s visit to Changjiang Golden Waterway demonstrates that DMU places much value to the Waterway; on the other, DMU bears the responsibility to contribute to the construction of the Golden Waterway by means of providing technology support and talents training. Director-General Tang Guanjun and Jin Yihua both expressed their gratitude for engaging as DMU’s visiting professors. They are determined to make their contributions to the development of the University.

　　In the following days, the Group also visited Yichang, Chongqing and other places. They had discussion with experts in charge of Changjiang Golden Waterway Construction on technology demands and research project exchange.
