On the morning of September 21st, Dr. Eddy Campbell, Vice-President and Dr. Peter Fisher, Head of Division of Degree Studies and Research from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada visited DMU.
Vice-President Sun Yuqing had a meeting with the guests. Dr. Eddy Campbell first made a brief introduction on Newfoundland, Canada and Memorial University. The guests extended their intention for education cooperation with DMU. Vice-President Sun Yuqing introduced to the guests of DMU, especially its international visions regarding cooperation with universities abroad. The two parties then conducted discussion on “2+2” collaborative program between the two universities, and reached consensus on certain issues. The two parties also assigned project contact person and planned to get to further discussion later. After the meeting, the guests visited some campus facilities, such as ship-handling simulator and survival training center.
