On September 21st, on behalf of International Association of Maritime Universities (IAMU), President Wang Zuwen signed cooperation memorandum with Mr. Ali Amer, CEO of Dubai Maritime City。
Based on the memorandum, a feasibility research regarding the establishment of Graduate Merchandize University will be conducted by Hissashi Yamamoto, Secretary-General of IAMU and experts and professionals from maritime institutions and shipping enterprises. The feasibility report will be completed by the end of March 2008. Representatives from China, U.S., Russia, Turkey and other countries also presented at the signing ceremony.
