   The goal of IFIP International Conference on Network and Parallel Computing (NPC 2007) is to establish an international forum for researchers and practitioners to present their excellent ideas and experiences in all system fields of network and parallel computing.

 NPC 2007 hosted by College of Computer Science and Technology, Dalian Maritime University will be held September 18—21, 2007 in Dalian, which is a well-known city with a longstanding history and civilization, lies in Northeast of China. Dalian , named as “Northern Hong Kong of China ” , has a world-class reputation for its seafood, shopping, and sightseeing. September is the best season for tourism and enjoying seafood . Dalian is also well - connected to major cities in the world via air.
